CHINESE BLUE & WHITE PRUNUS BLOSSOM PORCELAIN JAR KANGXI PERIOD

A fine and authentic Kangxi period example. The jar has a rich blue color on a pure white porcelain ground. The jar is ornately decorated throughout. The jar is a great example to study and handle in person, teaching one invaluable information about how a Kangxi period example should look and feel in hand. 

The jar also came from the estate with this fine antique carved hardwood lid. The lid has a beautiful and larger size mounted natural apple green & snow white bi disc jadeite ring. We are confident this ring is also of antique age, and likely has some good value on its own.

Condition: Estate-fresh, the jar has a large crack that surrounds one side of the jar, which is mainly only noticeable from its interior. The jar could be restored if desired and is being offered as a study example. The lid is also cracked and glued but it’s in stable and presentable condition as seen. The jadeite disc is in fine condition. 

Size: 8 1/2inches tall x 7 inches wide, and 9 1/2 inches tall including the lid. The jadeite disc measures 2 3/8 inches wide.
